Kazakhstan and Germany discussed cooperation in agrarian and industrial complex. In Berlin, the delegation from Kazakhstan held a number of presentations for leading German businessmen and investors, a correspondent of Khabar 24 informs.
They told about available opportunities in Kazakhstan agrarian sector for German companies. Among main speakers are the first deputy akim of North Kazakhstan region Aidarkhan Saparov. Talking about the region’s advantages he noted that the region is agricultural and it borders on three regions of Russia that speaks about its export potential. Also he noted that North Kazakhstan region intends to construct a wheat processing factory. He invited German investors to participate in this perspective project. Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Kazakh Invest told participants more details about the priority directions of development of agrarian and industrial complex, measures of state support and investment attraction of Kazakhstan. In turn, heads of German companies mark that Kazakhstan has an interesting market for them, they are ready to share their experiences and technologies.

- We have got acquainted with Kazakhstan available opportunities and tools we can offer to help Kazakhstan develop further agrarian sector. There is a close cooperation between our states. Kazakhstan with its great export potential is an important market for Germany. Kazakhstan is simultaneously working above own supply, as well as increasing its export opportunities. I consider that your country has a great potential for modernization of agrarian sector, and our countries can actively cooperate in it.
Aidarkhan Saparov, the first deputy akim of North Kazakhstan region:
- Following the meeting, heads of companies came up to us and were interested in our region, what projects they wish to implement especially in poultry, seeders, also were interested in timber processing. They wish to arrive in April for birch processing to make glued beams, to install the equipment. We will create all conditions. We are waiting for them.
