Within the framework of the Business Support Map of East Kazakhstan region, it has been implemented the project on construction of Aktogai Mining and Processing Plant, located in Ayagoz district of East Kazakhstan region.
Objective and idea of the project: development of a large copper field

Put into operation: in 2017.

Following the successful launch of the project, the Board of Directors of the Company has approved the project on doubling the processing capacities of Aktogai from 25 million tons up to 50 million tons per year. The budget of the capital investments will be US $1,2 billion. It will be started up in 2021.

It involves in mining of precious metals and prospecting works in five regions of Russia - Magadan region, Khabarovsk Krai, Sverdlovsk region, the Republic of Karelia, in Chukotka, in Armenia and in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Bakyrchik Mining Company Ltd is an affiliated company of Polymetal JSC. Since 2014, the enterprise has been implementing the project on construction of the Mining and Processing Complex with a capacity of 2 million tons of ore per year, in Auezov settlement of Zharma district of East Kazakhstan region. The project intends to produce a gold-bearing concentrate. On the average, the plant will produce more than 10 tons of gold in a concentrate during the operating period of the mine, and more than 8 tons at the operation of the underground mine. The project is currently a key investment project of Polymetal development on expansion of production capacities of the company. The project manager is Ovchinnikov Jury Borisovich.

Bakyrchik Mining Company Ltd actively participates in business social responsibility programs. In 2014-2017 it invested more than KZT1 billion 854 million in development of social programs within the framework of the concluded memorandums and allocated more than KZT35 million to provide sponsor support and material assistance.
Production of caviar and sturgeons’ fillet of Bester hybrid
Ost Fish Ltd
Within the framework of the Business Support Map of East Kazakhstan region, the project has been implemented on production of caviar and fish fillet of sturgeons of Bester hybrid of Ost Fish Ltd, located in Saratovka settlement, Ulan district of East Kazakhstan region. The project’s capacity provides production of 45 tons of sturgeons’ fillet and 4 tons of caviar of sturgeons per year. Production of the enterprise enables to replace completely the import production of foreign producers by quality, and in due course - by quantity.
The project manager is Alchinbayev Rashid Galbilmalikovich.
Objective and idea of the project: applying modern technologies on breeding of sturgeons and production of qualitative products, and their getting to the market of Kazakhstan and outside.
