Ust-Kamenogorsk city hosted a regional round of Kazakhstan’s Best Product Award
A regional round of a traditional competition-exhibition “Kazakhstan’s Best Product Award” is taking place in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, a correspondent of Khabar 24 reports. More than 70 producers of East Kazakhstan and Abai regions presented their products.
The Organizer - Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs stressed that this competition is a way to present their products to a wide range of people.
By the way, at the Competition, anyone could buy a product they liked.
The East of the country may be proud of its products. There were Semey’s goods, Altai’s honey and Ust-Kamenogorsk’s industrial products. For example, SP JET Company produces spare parts for light and heavy machinery and can produce any spare part for Mining as well as for private household within a short period of time.
Alexandr Strakatov, the CEO of SP JET LLP:
Now the West technology nothing varies from here’s technology. Nothing changes. We are only producing it here onsite. And we make it quicker. We can make it within a day, but sometimes we are waiting for several months them to be imported.
This makes us save money and time. Especially at this time, when there is a problem with logistics and import substitution is a way out, experts say. And not by chance, this Company was named one of the best.

Our priority is that we can produce any furniture for any hospital with necessary design and color.
Most products were presented by producers of small-sized business. People with pleasure tasted cakes, and could buy fish from local fish breeding farms, or buy national clothes.
Shakarym Buktugutov, Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan region:
For recent 5 years, a share of small-sized business increased from 16% to 20%. That is every fifth product from the amount of all output is produced by small and medium-sized enterprises.
The exhibition “Kazakhstan’s Best Product Award” is an opportunity to present own product to a lot of people. Last years, 6 regional producers have managed to win at the Republican round of the Competition.
