Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso
The Head of State held a meeting via videoconference with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso.
During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for the implementation of a set of investment projects in Kazakhstan in the transit carriage, decarbonization of the economy and the financial sector.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the positive dynamics of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with the EBRD.
– As part of our partnership, we have achieved positive results. I believe that efficient cooperation between the Government of Kazakhstan and the EBRD will be encouraged, the Head of State said.
Odile Renaud-Basso commended the reforms carried out under the leadership of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, outlined in the Address to the People of Kazakhstan on March, 16.
The Head of the EBRD reaffirmed her readiness to develop cooperation as part of Kazakhstan's goal on achieving carbon neutrality.
In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited Odile Renault-Basso to pay another visit to Kazakhstan.
