China intends to implement new projects in Kazakhstan
Chinese investors are exploring the possibilities of implementing a number of projects in Kazakhstan in the food industry, mining and metallurgical complex. That was announced by the CEOs of the Chinese Financial and Industrial Holding CITIC during a working meeting with the Deputy Chair of the Board of NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC Zhandos Temirgali.
During the meeting, the Vice President of CITIC Construction Yang Jianqiang announced the company's intention to invest in new projects in the agricultural and mining sectors, in particular in the meat production, deep processing of grains and oilseeds, as well as in the development of deposits of vanadium and other non-ferrous metals.
As part of the negotiations, the investors were briefed on the investment potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan, opportunities and support mechanisms for business in our country. Chinese entrepreneurs were interested in specific investment projects and investment opportunities in the mentioned sectors.
“For many years, the state has been paying great attention to the development of the agro-industrial complex. Promoting the development of the agro-industrial sector, the state is taking a set of measures aimed at its improving, so that today there is an increase in gross agricultural production, the establishment of new agricultural facilities in the Republic and an increase in investment in the agricultural industry,” said the Project Manager of NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC Samat Almagambetov.
Also, during the meeting with Chinese investors, the Project Manager for MSF of KAZAKH INVEST NC JSC Dilyara Tektigulova briefed on the advantages of implementing investment projects in the mining and metallurgical industry, and also presented specific investment proposals drawn up for the Chinese side.
