Turkey intends to invest in Kazakhstan sectors of renewable energy resources and telecommunications

NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC organized a visit of a large Turkish company SINLAK HOLDING to discuss the prospects for the implementation of several advanced investment projects in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting of the CEO of SINLAK HOLDING Serdar Shinlak with the CEO of KAZAKH INVEST Meirzhan Yusupov, the investor was informed of the investment climate, financial instruments, key advantages of project implementation and measures of state support for investments in Kazakhstan.

 

In turn, the CEO of SINLAK HOLDING Serdar Shinlak announced his intention to implement a number of investment projects in various directions.

As part of the first direction, SINLAK HOLDING is considering the possibility of building a solar power plant with a capacity of 100 MW, with a further expansion to 1000 MW.

At the same time, the Turkish Holding specializes in using its own innovative solutions in the field of GSM telecommunications (MNO/MVNO). SINLAK HOLDING is a partner of the British company LYCA Mobile as the major network operators in five countries. Investors intend to establish cooperation with Kazakhstan TV operators as well as to facilitate the development of this industry.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further close cooperation in the implementation of investment projects.

It should be noted that as part of the visit, the company also plans to hold a number of meetings with authorized state agencies, representatives of the quasi-public sector and local partners.
