Kazakhstan and Germany intend to jointly develop “green economy”

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and the leadership of German companies held an online meeting where discussed the issues of cooperation on development the green economy, decarbonization, processing of raw materials and the hydrogen economy. 

The meeting was attended by the leadership and representatives of more than 80 leading German companies, including Siemens Energy, Linde, Deutsche Bahn, REMONDIS, Deutsche Bank, Bayer, SAP, Goldbeck Solar and others.

Michael Harms, Managing Director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy stressed the importance of developing trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

During the online meeting, the heads of leading German companies paid special attention to the prospects for the development of “green economy” in general, the potential of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
