Five new projects are underway in East Kazakhstan region as part of Business Support Map
The East of the country is implementing 5 new projects this year as part of Business Support Map, a correspondent of Khabar 24 reports.
All of them are included in the program of innovative-industrial development of Kazakhstan till 2025. Each of them is about the most modern production with advanced technologies. They are aimed both at meeting the needs of the domestic market and at export.
In Rulikha settlement of Shemonaikha district, the beginning of December was full of significant events. A dairy farm has been built there for almost 3 years. And now the first Holstein-Freeze cows have been brought there. The cost of each of them is over a million tenge. But there are also great hopes for them. So, the district will have its own production of natural dairy products. In all, they intend to spend over KZT2.5 billion to implement this project.
Serik Sagandykov, Director of Rulikha LLP: - The first batch - 332 heads. Now in March there will be the second batch. About 150 heads. And by the fall next year, we will get the rest ones. Now the project accounts for 600 heads. In the future, we want up to 1200 heads. We have a milking parlor that can milk 1200 cows.
One more production is connected with agriculture. In Zharma, a limestone processing plant has been built at the Ortabulak deposit. It is aimed at construction, as it produces limestone and mineral powder. The latter is used as an additive to asphalt. But limestone flour goes directly to fertilizers in crop production, and as a calcium supplementary feed for livestock. And this is only part of the projects of the industrialization program.
Olga Grigoriyeva, acting Head of Entrepreneurship and Innovative-Industrial Development Administration of EKR:
- More than 400 jobs will be created. For example, a mining and processing plant has been built in Kurchum district. In Altai district there is an elevator for oil crops storing. A unique production of fuel assemblies will be opened in Ust-Kamenogorsk city. All these products will be exported.
In total, 33 projects worth almost KZT 660 billion are to be implemented in the region over 5 years. More than 11,000 people will get jobs at the new production facilities.
