The China Development Bank has invested USD20 billion in Kazakhstan projects
In our Republic there are already 1200 enterprises with participation of the Chinese capital.
The China Development Bank (CDB) has supported 32 projects in the territory of Kazakhstan. Thus, the total amount of funding accounted for more than USD20 billion, according to the correspondent of Business Information Center of Kapital.kz.
«I’d like to note that the CDB opened a special credit line worth USD 15 billion. Key projects have been implemented in Kazakhstan within its frame. The total amount approved for funding amounted to USD 4,6 billion. These projects include: light-rail transport, a project for polypropylene production, a project for creation of herbicides, as well as updating Shymkent Oil Refinery», - informed Timur Suleimenov, the Minister of National Economy during the opening ceremony of a representative office of CDB at the stock of AIFC in Astana.
Head of the Ministry of National Economy said that trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Peoples’ Republic of China increased by 33 %. And more than 40 commercial documents worth USD13 billion were signed within the framework of the Kazakhstan-Chinese Business Council held this summer in Astana.

These are such directions as oil and gas, minerals, energy, chemical industry and finance. Now there are 1200 enterprises with participation of the Chinese capital.
