Dear businessmen of East Kazakhstan region!

On October 30, 2018 Almaty city (401 Ospanov St, Royal Tulip Almaty Hotel) will host a meeting of Joint Kazakhstan-Malaysia Business Council with representatives of business and state authorized agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning investment in the national economy and bilateral (mutually favourable) cooperation in exports of Kazakhstan products to the ASEAN market.

For reference: ASEAN Economic Community (similar to EAEC) was established in 1967, comprising 10 countries of Southeast Asia with the population of nearby 623 million people (8,6 % of the population). ASEAN became one of the most perspective economic platform for export and import of products with total amount of gross domestic product of USD 2,6 trillion or about 3 % of the world gross domestic product.

The Agreement «On establishment of Joint Kazakhstan - Malaysia Business Council» was signed within the framework of the State visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev to Malaysia (on April 17-18, 2012). This very Business Council is intended to promote the development, expanding and strengthening the bilateral trade and economic cooperation as well as attracting investments between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Malaysia.
