The Government and business understand the importance of working together to promote brands

The second volume of the book «Brands of Kazakhstan» was presented today in Astana.

The book contains information on large Kazakhstan brands and companies operating in different regions and sectors of the economy, as well as about representatives of small and medium enterprises.

The second volume of the book «Brands of Kazakhstan» includes an introduction by the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kasymbek where the Minister mentioned the relevance of promoting domestic brands both on Kazakhstan, and foreign markets.

During the presentation, Director of Department for Export Development and Promotion of the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alimzhan Tokhtasunov told about the measures of state support for producers and potential exporters of finished goods.

«For the last 7 years, within the framework of implementing the two state programs of innovative industrial development, already more than 40 new kinds of finished goods are exported to foreign countries. This has been possible mainly owing to the fact that the government and business understand the importance of working together to promote brands», - Alimzhan Tokhtasunov said.

He also noted that within the framework of implementing the Plan of the Nation - 100 concrete steps, such four umbellate brands have been developed as «Qazaq Organic Food», «Halal», «KazMai» which include the domestic organic agricultural products and «KazMeat» where the meat production is set out separately.

For reference: In 2016 the creative team of the book about the Kazakhstan brands published the first book about the Kazakhstan brands «Made in Kazakhstan. Brands of Kazakhstan». The book was dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan. In 2017 it was decided to publish the multivolume collection edition «Brands of Kazakhstan». In 2017 the first volume of this book was published, dedicated to the World's Fair EXPO-2017. In 2018 there was a second volume of the book «Brands of Kazakhstan», dedicated to the 20-th anniversary of the Kazakhstan capital of Astana city.

Let's note that the presentation of the book took place in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the end of the solemn ceremony authors gifted the Library some copies of the books.
