Over 30 meetings with Turkish businessmen held as part of the investment week

Following the investment week in Turkey, the Kazakhstan delegation chaired by the Vice-Minister for Investment and Development, Arystan Kabikenov, held more than 30 meetings with the largest Turkish holdings. Meetings with investors were organized with the assistance of the Embassy RK in Turkey and NC Kazakh Invest.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Ronesans Holding, Erman Ilicak expressed his interest in implementation of major infrastructural and social projects on the PPP mechanism in Kazakhstan. A number of PPP projects were proposed by the Kazakhstan party.

At the meeting with the Chairman of the Board of YDA Holding, Huseyin Arslan, the Vice-Minister for Investment and Development highlighted that the company became one of the first investors in the PPP mechanism in Kazakhstan, having taken Aktau International Airport in trust management. The concession contract was concluded in 2018 for the construction and operation of the new passenger terminal at Aktau Airport. Now the company shows interest in the project on construction of an integrated kindergarten with school in Astana.

The Kazakhstan delegation also met with the leadership of Calik Holding. The company expressed its interest in carrying out of geological exploration works jointly with NMC Tau-Ken Samruk JSC on the South-Mointy area in Karaganda region. In turn, its subsidiary Calik Energy intends to implement the project on construction of a solar power station with a capacity of 50 mW.

At the meeting with Dal Holding, they discussed the project of the hothouse complex with the supply of electricity, heat and carbon dioxide from the gas power plants in Aktyubinsk region, and also the implementation of the project on the construction and launch of the mining-and-processing integrated works for the production of the barytic concentrate, with a capacity of 75 000 tons per year in Zhambyl regions.

Also, as part of the investment week, the meetings were held with the leadership of such companies as Dal Holding, Calik Holding, Eczacıbaşı Holding, Yildirim Holding, Bak-Ay Tekstil, Betek Boya Kimya, Merkez Asya Madencilik, Yasar Holding, Petronet Holding, Yildizlar SSS Holding, Anadolu Birlik Holding, Sanko Holding, Matli Holding, Tarim Kredi Holding, Abdi Ibrahim, MLPCare Holding, and others.
