Investment opportunities of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented at the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair 2021 Forum
A special session was held as part of the Annual Forum “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair 2021” in Handan, Hebei Province to present the investment potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the joint efforts of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, the Representative Office of the National Company KAZAKH INVEST, as well as the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (hereinafter - CCPIT) of Hebei Province.
The Deputy Chair of the Board of NC KAZAKH JSC INVEST Zhandos Temirgali, as well as the Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the PRC for Economics Sultangali Kinzhakulov welcomed the participants the session.
The General Representative of KAZAKH INVEST in China, Kuanysh Amantai, gave a detailed account of the business climate of Kazakhstan, its investment opportunities and priority sectors of the economy, as well as measures of state support for Chinese investors.
Also, in an online format, the project managers of KAZAKH INVEST presented to the session participants the investment potential of the country's agro-industrial and mining and metallurgical sectors.
Furthermore, Iskander Baytasov, Head of the Representative Office of NWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC, presented the Fund's activities and potential areas of joint investment cooperation.
Following the event, the leadership of CCPIT highlighted the high dynamics of trade and investment cooperation between the RK-PRC.
In turn, the representatives of the Chinese business community provided feedback on ways of further developing investment cooperation between Hebei Province and Kazakhstan, and also took a close interest in implementing joint investment projects in such industries as metallurgy, transport and logistics, mechanical engineering and renewable energy sources.
For reference: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair 2021 Forum is held by the People's Government of Hebei Province, the CCPIT of Hebei Province and the Beijing, Tianjin and the People's Government of Handan (Hebei Province). The goal of the Forum is to discuss and establish cooperation on the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic agglomeration, as well as the development of the new Xunan district and preparations for the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022.
