China highlighted the prospects for cooperation with Kazakhstan
China ranks fourth in terms of foreign investments attracted to Kazakhstan. The total amount of capital from this country has approached $20 billion. Ambassador of our country to China Gabit Koishybayev announced this at the round table. The event took place in Chengdu, the administrative center of the Sichuan Province, Khabar 24 reports.
The leadership of more than twenty Chinese enterprises participated in the Forum. Local entrepreneurs got familiar with the preferential policy and the most promising areas of cooperation with Kazakhstan, primarily in the processing and non-resource sectors of the economy. In return, Chinese entrepreneurs presented their vision of the development of trade and economic cooperation between the countries.
Li Pei, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Eurasian Economic Cooperation:
- The Sichuan Province has an advantageous geographical position, connecting Europe and Asia. In addition, the region is actively investing in information technology, digital economy, manufacture the chips and semiconductors, and new energy. I heard that Kazakhstan is also planning economic transformation, the Province could lend assistance. In the future, it is planned to launch the Kazakhstan Science and Technology Production Park. For this reason, a logical production chain is about to be built.
