International Conference on Green Economy and Transition to Best Available Technologies Principles
International Conference on Green Economy and Transition to Best Available Technologies Principles (hereinafter - the Conference) is taking place on November 11, 2020.
The main goal of the Conference is to create an effective communication platform for an open and constructive dialogue on discussing green economy issues and introducing the best available technologies (BAT), increasing local capacity in the BAT and Green Technologies in Kazakhstan, and developing multilateral cooperation.
Kazakhstan, as the country-initiator of the Green Bridge Partnership Program and the organizer of the International Specialized Exhibition “Energy of the Future EXPO-2017”, supports all “green” initiatives and is working to implement them.
The Center aims to share the experiences of the EXPO-2017 exhibition and become a hub of green projects, consolidating the global green initiatives of the world community and assisting in their implementation, including on the basis of international experience to actively promote and implement the best available technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Conference will be attended by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, top managers and representatives of state and local executive agencies, industrial enterprises, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, as well as leading Kazakhstan and international experts from the countries of the European Union, the Eurasian Economic Union and the OECD.
The format of the Conference is face-to-face with possible online connection of remote participants and foreign speakers via Zoom platform.
