Hungarian business intends to invest in building a dairy plant in Kazakhstan
President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev urged the Hungarian business circles to strengthen their activities in the Republic, Interfax-Kazakhstan informs. So, a dairy plant will be built in Kazakhstan with participation of investors from Hungary.
«We are interested in increasing the number of investment projects promoting economic development of our countries. For this reason, I urge the Hungarian business circles to strengthen their activities in Kazakhstan. Our country has all necessary conditions for this. We have the favorable investment business climate, Astana International Financial Center renders services of the global level successfully, there is an access to the unified market of the Eurasian Economic Union as well as a direct access to the huge Chinese market», - the President briefed at the press conference following the talks with the Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orban.
According to Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, the sides reached «serious arrangements on the further cooperation». He noted that today's talks are dedicated to the fifth anniversary of strategic partnership between two countries.
«Today, jointly with the Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orban we outlined the priority directions in the development of political, trade and economic and cultural cooperation between our countries», - the Head of the state said.
In turn, Victor Orban stressed that the countries have been working hard for the last years to create joint Kazakhstan-Hungarian enterprises.
«We have created the Kazakhstan-Hungarian Investment Fund, and it has already yielded the first results as we managed to open the first large investment in the area of agriculture. And the second project is underway too, the matter concerns the implementation. We intend to build a dairy factory (in Kazakhstan)», - Victor Orban explained at the press conference.
An official visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary to Kazakhstan took place in Nur-Sultan on Wednesday. On April, 29 the meeting of Kazakhstan-Hungarian Strategic Council will take place in Nur-Sultan with participation of 100 Hungarian businessmen. Kazakhstan expects that this very event will determine new tools to further increase the volume and expand the structure of trade.
