Kazakhstan attracted USD 12 billion of direct foreign investment over six months
Over USD 12 billion of direct foreign investment Kazakhstan attracted in the first half of this year, correspondent of Khabar – 24 informs. This is a 15 % increase compared to the last year's figures.
9 regions have also succeeded in substantially increasing the volume of capital investment. Atyrau region accounts for the lion’s share of them. It has attracted USD5 billion for six months. Almaty is the second, followed by Astana.
Our country also increases the volumes of export. Only in 2017 the indicators grew almost by 32 per cent, having reached USD 48 billion. In the second quarter of 2018 the products were exported abroad to the amount of USD15 billion that is USD 3 billion more than the same period of last year.
