Askar Mamin inspected infrastructural and industrial projects of Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, during his working trip to Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions, inspected the progress of reconstruction of the Center - East Highway, as well as familiarized with the process of implementation of industrial projects of the regions.

The First Deputy Prime Minister, having travelled along the Astana - Pavlodar Highway, familiarized with the construction of the Center - East Highway and, after hearing the reports of the heads of KazAvtoZhol NC and contract organizations, held a meeting concerning the development of the republican network of highways.

The total length of highways of the republican importance in three regions: Akmola, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan makes up 7345 km. On the Center - East Highway, 404 km were put into service, 501 km were repaired and reconstructed. All works are conducted according to the approved schedule.

Within the framework of the trip, Askar Mamin familiarized with the state of road service facilities. Now, there are 530 road service facilities of categories А, В, С, D along the highways of the republican importance of Akmola, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions, another 16 facilities will be put into service by the end of 2018.

Askar Mamin visited the Kazway Modular Type Pavilion, located on 28 km of the bypass of Astana. The pavilion is equipped with the modern system of ventilation and heating, video surveillance system, Wi-Fi, vacuum toilet and other high technologies, providing comfortable and reliable stay in the Pavilion. By the end of this year, it is planned to open of another  12 modular pavilions on the highways Astana - Shuchinsk, Astana - Temirtau, Almaty - Kapshagai, Borovoe ring (entering Borovoe), bypassing  Astana.

Following the results of the inspection, Askar Mamin instructed  highways to open the traffic along 905 km of the Center - East Highway, tasked to complete the project as a whole in 2019

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Bozshakolsky ore mining and processing enterprise and familiarized with the technological process of copper concentrate production and development of mining operations.

Prommashkomplekt LLP presented the casting of wheel sets, production of turnouts, crossing pieces and repair kits for the railway industry. The First Deputy Prime Minister also familiarized with the activities of some facilities in the territory of the SEZ Pavlodar

At the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, they informed Askar Mamin of its modernization which provided an increase in the productivity of the processing crude oil, improvement of quality of motor fuels to meet the requirements of К-4 standard for gasoline, К-5 standard for diesel. The project enabled to introduce energy-saving and ecologically clean technologies, automation of management, rational use of natural resources and to increase the efficiency of nature protection measures.

In East Kazakhstan region, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan familiarized with the work of the defense and civil defense enterprises: Semey Engineering JSC and Semipalatinsk Machine Building Plant.

During the visit to the Bakyrchik Mining Enterprise LTD, Askar Mamin was briefed of the launch in 2018 of a new ore enrichment plant.

In Semey, the First Deputy Prime Minister familiarized with the progress of works on expansion and reconstruction of RK -1 where the commissioning works are currently being conducted to update the technological equipment of heat sources and the main heat networks.

Askar Mamin visited a number of social facilities, including a new Karagaily microdistrict which was constructed under the Nurly Zher Program and a kindergarten for 320 places.
