TikTok intends to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan
This was announced by Oleg Sokolov, Director of TikTok Representative Office in Eastern Europe, during a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almas Aidarov and the representatives of Kazakh Invest National Company JSC.
Launched in 2018, the international version of TikTok is one of the leading global internet platforms with a worldwide monthly audience of over one billion users. A delegation of TikTok visited the Republic of Kazakhstan to address issues related to projects in the education, culture, tourism and other issues of platform development in Kazakhstan.
According to the TikTok representatives, over 7 million registered users today use the platform in Kazakhstan every month. The company implements large-scale projects to promote education and culture development in many countries of the world, including Kazakhstan.
Oleg Sokolov highlighted the intention of TikTok to strengthen the cultural and educational content of the platform on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including to promote national theaters and museums.
In turn, Almas Aidarov proposed to consider the possibility of opening a Representative Office of the company in Kazakhstan and announced his readiness to provide comprehensive support to the company's initiatives in the country.
As part of the TikTok visit, with the assistance of NC Kazakh Invest JSC and Zerde Holding JSC, meetings were organized with the leadership of the MCS, MISD, MDDIAI, MES and others.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation.
