East Kazakhstan region launched a new modern oil extraction plant
The domestic company ALTAI MAI is starting to construct a multi-seed oil extraction plant worth KZT12.7 billion in Ust-Kamenogorsk city. The project is implemented with the support NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC.
The plant, located on an area of almost 10 hectares, will produce up to 75,000 tons of vegetable oil and 64,000 tons of oil meal per year. The vegetable oil production process of the project is to be completely automated. The automation system will control the entire process chain, from the receipt of raw materials, the production process, and ending with the shipment of finished products. The software of each equipment will be integrated into one global program, automatically identify and adjust the most efficient production technology.
ALTAI MAI company is confident in the uninterrupted supply of raw materials as well as in the technical capabilities of the plant. The plant is able to process over 500 tons of sunflower seeds or 400 tons of rapeseeds per day. The seeds of sunflower and rapeseeds used as raw materials for processing will be supplied to the plant from Borodulikha, Shemonaikha, Glubokoe, Ziryan, Samar and Ulan districts of East Kazakhstan region adjacent to Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The region is confident that the products of the oil extraction plant will positively resolve the issue of import substitution in the future, and also contribute to the development of exports to China, Uzbekistan and other countries.
