KAZAKH INVEST called upon Malaysian businesses to invest in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities were presented to foreign entrepreneurs by NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC, with the support of the Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA), as part of the webinar called “Kazakhstan - the Land of Great Opportunities”, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Malaysia.
The online meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Malaysia Bulat Sugurbayev, the representatives of NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC, Astana International Financial Centre and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the CEOs of Malaysian companies operating in IT, electronics and semiconductor industry.
In his welcoming speech, Bulat Sugurbayev noted the great potential for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the trade, economic and investment sectors. The Ambassador informed the entrepreneurs that Kazakhstan presents new opportunities for foreign investors and is open for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Furthermore, a representative of NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC Diana Ablyakimova stressed that the national company is interested in cooperation with Malaysian business circles and is read to support the implementation of investment projects, from initiation to the commissioning stage.
Today, foreign investors have a particular interest in opportunities of Kazakhstan’s priority sectors, thanks to its strategically important location, favorable business environment, investors’ rights protection, as well as government support measures. Diana Ablyakimova highlighted, Kazakhstan, located in the heart of Eurasia, not only unites the world's largest markets, but also has a rich mineral resource base and favorable business climate.
During the webinar, Malaysian companies showed interest in the measures of state support of the Park of Innovative Technologies FEZ, located in Almaty city, as well as the opportunities provided by the Astana International Financial Center.
Following the event, the parties agreed to organize a visit of representatives of companies to Kazakhstan.
