An investment meeting, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence took place in Bangkok
On December 15, 2021 - An investment meeting, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence was held via videoconference from Bangkok. The event was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Thailand with the assistance of the Investment Council of Thailand and National Company Kazakh Invest JSC. The meeting was attended by over 40 Thai entrepreneurs, representatives of business associations and members of the diplomatic corps.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Thailand Raushan Esbulatova briefed the participants of the meeting on Kazakhstan’s economic success achieved over 30 years and the priority tasks of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan in attracting investments.
In turn, Deputy Secretary General of the Investment Council of Thailand Sonklin Ploymee congratulated Kazakhstan on the Anniversary of Independence and wished prosperity and success to the people of Kazakhstan. She also informed of the policy of the Kingdom of Thailand to promote the participation of Thai businesses abroad and spoke positively about the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation between companies from the two countries.
Representatives of Kazakh Invest presented investment opportunities and provided details on certain government measures to support investment projects in Kazakhstan, including in the agricultural sector.
Following the meeting, the representatives of Thai business shared with the participants their experiences to do business in Kazakhstan and exchanged views on the prospects for further cooperation.
