Nordic Investment Bank will be open in Kazakhstan

The Nordic Investment Bank will be open in Kazakhstan. The corresponding agreement was ratified today by deputies of Majilis during a plenary meeting, Khabar 24 reports.

The document will start the financing of investment projects in our country. Among the main areas of the bank: agriculture, energy, green economy, telecommunications and transport. A pool of projects worth more than a billion Euros has already been prepared for the implementation. Among them, launching the 5G network and producing technical silicon in Pavlodar region.

Ruslan Dalenov, the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

- If the borrower is the state, the credit rate makes up 2%, if the private sector is credited then the rate is approximately 7%. The loan is provided for the period up to 20 years. The conditions are attractive and similar to the conditions of other financial institutions. The attractiveness of the bank is that banking procedures are carried out quickly and funds can be attracted to various fields. The agreement does not require membership fees and other obligatory payments from the budget.
