Turkish company intends to launch a plant in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan and Turkey maintain relations in the economy, a correspondent of Khabar 24 reports.
The sides are cooperating in such areas as investment, agriculture, light industry, transport and trade. The growth in bilateral trade increased by 50% compared to the last year. According to experts, high growth rates will increase the performance indicator significantly.
Kayseri Province is the first industrial zone in Turkey. Here are more than 1300 companies. They produce furniture, food, building materials, plastic products. The region also has developed textile, metalworking and mining industries. One of the companies producing household appliances plans to launch a plant in Kazakhstan.
Yusuf Uge, CEO of the company:
- Our company manufactures metal products, including all household appliances. For several years, we have exported some of our products to Kazakhstan. Now we have a large plant for the production of household appliances and metalworking. Now we plan to start producing household appliances in Kazakhstan.
Today, more than 2,000 enterprises with the involvement of Turkish capital are working in various sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan. In the first three months of this year, bilateral trade turnover between the states reached USD 632 million. In the near future it is planned to increase this figure to 5 billion a year.
Nuriddin Amankul, a Special Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Investments in Turkey:
- We constantly hold meetings with Turkish companies. We have already negotiated with 500 leading enterprises in Kayseri. The export of this industrial region is more than USD 3 billion a year.
Turkish businessmen are aware of the business climate in Kazakhstan, and most importantly, they want to invest in the country. Therefore, it is necessary to create enterprises and implement joint projects to strengthen economic relations between fraternal countries.
