East Kazakhstan region is looking for investors to build a plant

East Kazakhstan region intends to build a plant for the extraction and processing of natural stone worth KZT 3.8 billion. This LS was announced in the regional Innovative Industrial Development Administration.

"The project to build a plant for the extraction and processing of natural stone, as well as the production of facing and architectural-constructional products is at the stage of attracting investors and finding sources of financing for the resumption of production," the Administration explained.

Meanwhile, a new facility is planned to be constructed in Kurchatov. So, according to the business plan, its implementation is estimated at KZT3.79 billion. The production of slabs, polished and cladding plates, memorial products are planning to create at the plant. Its capacity will be 400-500 thousand square meters per year.

Finished products will be delivered not only to the Kazakhstani market, but also to the neighboring countries. 90 people will be provided with jobs.

It should be reminded that the region intends to modernize the production of calcium hydroxide. The launch of the updated enterprise, which is located in Kurchatov, is scheduled for 2020.
