Issues of attraction of investment in Kazakhstan discussed in Pekin

Seminar entitled «One Belt, One Way» took place in the capital of China, where representatives of more than 60 Chinese and 20 Kazakhstan companies discussed their further cooperation.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China Shakhrat Nuryshev opened the meeting. He acquainted participants of the event with Kazakhstan investment climate, with the state of development of all-round strategic partnership with China. The Managing Director of the National Company Kazakh Invest Almas Agibayev and the Head for Mining Issues of Deloitte China Kevin Sui were also speakers at the seminar. Kazakhstan companies presented 17 investment projects in metallurgical, mining, power, petrochemical and transport sectors.

Dina Tasbulatova, Director General of Deloitte Kazakhstan:

- The projects presented have high potential, which have already serious base of study of projects. Reserves are estimated, the infrastructure is available. As a whole, such events expand the investment potential of Kazakhstan and allow us to adjust closer cooperation with the Chinese business.
