Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities will be presented in Switzerland in April

A meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of “Kazakh Invest” Marat Birimzhan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Urs Schmidt took place in Astana city on February, 28.

The meeting discussed some issues of bilateral cooperation, including the general economic interaction between the two countries, and also joint participation in investment events this year.

Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities will be presented in Winterthur city, Switzerland in April of this year. Besides, the further bilateral cooperation will be discussed at a round table with participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Switzerland, “Kazakh Invest” and representatives of the Swiss business.

Also the meeting discussed the further steps related to assistance to “Kazakh Invest” in preparation of the upcoming visit of representatives of business circles and state agencies, chaired by the Minister of Economy of Switzerland Mr. Schneider-Amman to the Republic of Kazakhstan in July, 2018.

In his turn, Marat Birimzhan noted the importance of continuing the investment cooperation between the two countries and attracting the Swiss companies’ interest to implementation of investment projects in the priority sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
