Kazakhstan investors can freely work in free trade zones of Armenia. That was announced by Timur Urazayev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia at the press briefing in Astana city, as correspondent of INA “Kazinform” reports.

The Ambassador stated that Armenia and Iran intend to consider the project of creation of a single free trade zone and in this case Armenia can become a trade bridge between member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the third countries.

«In particular, a free economic zone has been created in Syunik region of Armenia that borders on the analogous economic zone in the north of Iran, and these are zones which enable these countries to trade duty-free, they also offer an opportunity to other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union to invest in them. The Kazakhstan investors are also invited to invest in Syunik economic zone», - Timur Urazayev said.

Also he added that now there are 80-140 enterprises in Kazakhstan with participation of investors from Armenia which function in such areas as processing industry, construction, trade, hotel and restaurant business.
